




The Münchener Biennale is an international festival for contemporary music theatre held every two years in Munich, showcasing innovative opera and performance productions.
The motto of the Münchener Biennale in 2022 was “Good Friends”, focusing on collaboration, artistic exchange, and the ways communities and relationships shape contemporary music theatre.
The festival brochure features a reversible front and back cover that reflects the idea of dialogue and reciprocity at the heart of Good Friends.






The campaign explored ideas of encounter, dialogue and coexistence through a series of posters composed of two competing yet complementary photographs. Their unexpected pairings created dense, multi-layered compositions that revealed new details and relationships with every glance.
